Baba Baidyanath Temple is one of the most scared abodes of Lord Shiva and also known as Baidyanath Jyotirlinga temple & Baba Baidyanath Dham.The complex of the temple includes the main temple of Baba Baidyanath Deoghar where linga has been installed and other 21 temples. This temple door opens at 4:00 AM Morning till 09:00 PM at Night.The Baidyanath Temple Pooja Timings includes Shodashopachara Pooja and Shringar Pooja. This is the temple also closes in afternoon and then opens again for darshan at 6 PM in the evening.

Baba Baidyanath Temple is one of the most scared abodes of Lord Shiva and also known as Baidyanath Jyotirlinga Temple and Baba Baidyanath Dham. Baba Baidyanath dham is located in Deoghar in the Santhal Parganas division of the state of Jharkhand, India. Baba Baidyanath Dham is the prime attraction in Deoghar. The temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. Baidyanath Dham is 4 km away from Deoghar Railway station and from Jasidih railway station, the temple is 8 km away. Raja Puran mal  built this temple, in 1596. The Baidyanath Temple is 72 feet high, east-facing. Apart from this the ‘PANCHSHUL’ and ‘CHANDRAKANTA MANI’ are placed on top of the temple. The ‘Chandrakanta Mani’ is an eight-petal lotus. The main Shiva Linga is about 5 inches in diameter and placed on a large slab. The large and magnificent temple of Baba Baidyanath where the Jyotirlinga is installed, along with 21 other significant and beautiful temples. The Significance and Importance of Baba Baidyanath Temple Deoghar is that this is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga.

Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple is visited daily by thousands of devotees for holy darshan of Lord Shiva. The festivals celebrated at Baidyanath Dham Temple are Shivaratri, Basant Panchami and Bhadra Purnima. But the importance of Baidyanath Dham Temple is more during the the month of Shrawan. During Shrawan Month lakhs of devotees visit the temple and it is considered as the longest religious fair in the world.
